Supervise the team of key account managers, to ensure they achieve sales objectives within public accounts, including RACE and State Accounts. This role involves developing and executing strategies to grow the business, through strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company policies.Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of key account managers.Foster the high-performance culture through monitoring the performance, coach, and provide the feedback.Encourage the collaboration between KAM team CFT (sales team (Demand generation), State Market Access, medical, marketing, and Tender & Order execution team)Keep the Compliance on the top of mind and maintain Zero Brach behaviour within the team and self.Sales Management:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed the sales targets that align with the company's objectives for the public sector business.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customers, analysing sales data to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for improving business.Efficiently managing time and resources to meet sales targets and deadlines.Monitor the performance at every goalpost and support team reaching the expected sales targets and provide periodical updates to Leadership team.Customer & Stakeholder Management:Maintain the Strong connect with both Initiators and DMUs within the accounts.Understand the hierarchy of the stakeholders in the key accounts and work with each of the stakeholders for the better access for AZ brands.Should be able to demonstrate the best product knowledge to work with key opinion leaders to develop the advocacy and establish the value proposition to obtain recommendations for key brands.Domain Knowledge & Business developmentAbility to understand the methods within the key account/Group of accounts to obtain the Rate contracts and expand the Business opportunity for key brands.Able to demonstrate great level of problem-solving to resolve the complex issues within key accounts.Work with internal stakeholders to mobilize the required efforts and support in unlocking the opportunities in the public channel for target brands.Ability to understand the language, Terms and conditions and Regulatory requirements of Rate contracts and supplies and collaborate with CoEx team for adherence.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher education in the field of Health sciences and a management degree could be an added advantage.10+ years of experience and managed the team for 4 years within public market sales.Should have worked in collaboration of access teams and the cross-function team.Strong performance and people development background.Excellence in Both written and Verbal communication and Presentation skills.Why AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca were dedicated to being a Great Place to Work.
