We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented YouTube Explainer Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of video editing techniques, storytelling, and the ability to transform complex ideas into visually engaging explainer videos for YouTube.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, professional-quality explainer videos.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and text overlays to enhance storytelling.
• Select appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement the visuals.
• Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and other team members to align video edits with the desired message and tone.
• Optimize videos for YouTube, including resolution, aspect ratio, and other platform-specific requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly for YouTube or digital platforms.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work on explainer or similar videos.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating explainer videos for educational or marketing purposes.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating thumbnails and other assets.
