Company Overview:

Youngman Manufacturing India Private Ltd. is the manufacturing arm of JOB Infra Pvt Ltd. and is responsible for the supply of manufactured and brought in products into Youngman India Pvt. Limited, Indias market leading national work at height and tool rental company, operating in 18 cities nationally. YM is also responsible for developing export sales opportunities to an increasing global clientele in Middle East, USA UK and Europe YM has a state-of-the-art 4,000-square-meter facility, equipped with modern technologies such as robotic welding, laser cutting, and CNC equipment.

Position Objective:

To facilitate further growth, development opportunities and to strengthen the companys management team, the company is seeking a forward-thinking General Manager with a robust engineering background. This role demands an individual who can seamlessly blend hands-on engineering know-how with wider sales and development functions to achieve significant growth, both in sales and profitability over the next 5 years.

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organisation.

- Provide effective leadership and direction to the company, in line with the legal, ethical, and moral standards that meet the company ethos.

- Ensure that the company complies with company law, and company policies, and that the managers have the appropriate knowledge of the legal requirements relating to their duties, sufficient to enable them to perform their operations diligently.

- Ensuring a continuous improvement program of reporting systems to manage and report on the performance of the company.

- Along with the CEO of JOB Infra, establish the annual budget as part of the 5-year plan to ensure achievement of the market-share objective and profitability plans.

- Implement marketing plans and sales programs, both short and long term to ensure achievement of financial objectives and product and services innovations.

- Provide effective leadership and direction to your direct reports implementing OKR techniques to ensure quick development and target achievement.

- Provide mentorship to reports providing them with development opportunities.

- Conduct periodic meetings utilising audits to determine effectiveness of competitive efforts and degree of achievement of business performance objectives for each area of control for direct reports.

- Understand, follow, and ensure conformance to the Quality Management System and that best engineering practice is followed.

- Develop relationships with key customers and management peer group to ensure the company products and relationships are what the market requires.

- Other Duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions of the job and or as specified by the CEO.

Essential Qualifications & Competencies:

- Bachelors/masters degree in engineering or related disciplines.

- Preferable experience in other geographic markets

- Proven track record in driving sales and achieving financial targets.

- Empathy with team

- Adept at problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Demonstratable interpersonal and leadership skills.

- Strong communication skills.
