Job Description

Positions open for yoga instructors and yoga trainers/ yoga teachers for Tapas Yoga Studio, a well known yoga studio in Newtown, Kolkata, West Bengal. We teach students and train teachers as well.

We have centers in Newtown and at Sarat Bose Road, near Minto Park, Kolkata.

The ideal candidate needs to have strong teaching/instructing background and experience in the field of Yoga. He or she must be passionate about teaching yoga. The candidate needs tp be able to teach both on-site (at client's premises) and also at our yoga studios and online as well. He/ She must be comfortable with group classes online or offline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team in teaching yoga to a client / student.
• Must have a strong passion and awareness about health, fitness and yoga.
• Willingness to update himself/herself according to current standards for teaching yoga.
• Assisting our team in making online yoga videos where he/she will be demonstrating how to perform yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation etc.
• Communicating with prospective clients or students and explaining to them our services based on their interests and individual requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate or degree in Yoga as Instructor/ Teacher from a reputed university.
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching yoga as a yoga instructor (not mandatory). Freshers also welcome.
• Fluent in speaking Hindi, English and Bengali. At least, should be able to understand English if not fluent.
• Good communication skills

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:
