What is the role of x ray technician?
An X-ray technician, also known as a radiologic technologist, is a healthcare professional who is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams using X-ray technology. Their role is to operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of the internal structures of the body, which are then used by doctors and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. The job duties of an X-ray technician can include: Explaining the imaging procedure to patients and answering any questions they may have. Positioning patients correctly to obtain the best possible image. Adjusting the X-ray equipment settings to ensure that the images are of high quality. Protecting patients from unnecessary radiation exposure. Developing and processing X-ray films or digital images.
