Job Description

The required X-Ray Technician( Minimum 2 Year work experience ) is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic X-rays /CT as directed by physicians. They ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient comfort and safety and adhere to all regulatory and hospital standards. Interested can share cv to:

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging:

Perform diagnostic X-rays/ CT based on physician instructions. Ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards.

Patient Care:

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures. Explain the procedure to patients and ensure their comfort. Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Equipment Handling:

Operate and maintain X-ray/CT machines and related equipment. Ensure proper calibration and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Report equipment malfunctions promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to radiation safety protocols and wear protective gear as required. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and legal regulations. Dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with guidelines.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate patient records and upload images to the hospital's database. Assist in preparing reports for physicians if required.

Collaboration:

Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Assist in inventory management of radiology supplies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Diploma or degree in Radiography/X-Ray Technology from a recognized institution.

Working Conditions:

Requires standing for long periods and physical dexterity to assist patients. Exposure to radiation; safety protocols must be followed. Shift-based or rotational duties may be required.

Experience:

minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred

Technical Skills:

Proficient in using X-ray & CT equipment

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, attention to detail and patient care skills.
