Position Overview:

The X-ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality X-ray images are captured for physicians to evaluate. You will work closely with patients, providing exceptional care while operating X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures as requested by physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety standards.
• Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, ensuring it is clean, functioning, and properly calibrated.
• Record and maintain patient data and imaging results in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care.
• Assist in the management and storage of patient X-ray films and digital images.
• Follow all safety protocols, including radiation safety measures, to protect patients and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and answering questions related to procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education : Completion of an accredited X-ray Technician program or Radiologic Technology program.
• License/Certification
• Experience : Previous experience as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of medical imaging procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to operate radiologic equipment effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and patient care.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Knowledge of EMR systems is a plus.
