X Ray Technician
Job Description
Preparing for the exam : Set up the exam room, equipment, and instruments for the patient
• Positioning the patient : Position the patient for the procedure
• Operating the equipment: Operate the X-ray machine to take images of the body
• Evaluating the images: Review the images to ensure they are clear and accurate, and retake them if needed
• Communicating with the patient: Answer the patient's questions and explain the procedure
• Documenting the procedure: Input the procedure details into the patient's record
• Maintaining the equipment: Clean and perform routine maintenance on the X-ray equipment
• Working with other medical providers: Send the images to other medical providers for reading
• Ensuring safety: Protect the patient from radiation and adhere to radiation safety practices
• Making recommendations: Make treatment recommendations based on the X-ray results
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From ?17,000.00 per month
