Role Description : - The job holder is responsible for generating new business from a geographically assigned sales territory across customer segments, by acquiring new customers and retaining existing customers to help XB grow its Cross Border Business. - Business Development for Freight ForwardingDuties/Responsibilities :1. Manage an assigned geographical sales areas or product line (SE/SI/AE/AI) to maximize sales revenues & coverage to meet corporate objectives.2. Develop prospective clients and make cold calls while servicing and growing existing clients. 3. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets, maintain a sales pipeline master sheet. 4. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.5. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. 6. Follow-up on quotations and close business, if lost, revert with reasons. 7. Assist the credit control team to collect dues and outstanding amounts from clients in the allotted credit limit. 8. Meet corporate budget targets. 9.
