Job Details:
Job Responsibilities:• Responsible to ensure WWTP operation and maintenance is always in good operating conditions.
• Ensure treated discharge water is within the regulatory specification (Standard A).
• Carry out daily routine inspection and monitoring for WWTP and record all the WWTP reading in the log sheet.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on all the related equipment according to the schedule.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance whenever there is breakdown or abnormal operation. Immediately report to superior if has any problem.
• Keep track of the spare parts, chemicals and consumables inventory and request for replenishment whenever required.
• Responsible in ensuring all tools, consumables were kept and use correctly and always in good condition.
• Monitor and ensure chemicals and consumables stock are adequate and monitor the consumption, dosing rate and adjust it to suit the plant operation accordingly.
• Responsible in recording and monitoring of chemical consumption, incoming water and discharge water.
• Responsible in tracking, coordinating and arranging incoming feed from area owner/production.
• Responsible to perform housekeeping in WWTP area.
• Any other jobs/tasks as assigned by Superior.


Job Requirements:• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in Chemical/Environmental Engineering/Chemical/Environmental Science/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess any training or certification related to Waste Water Treatment Plant is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Able to coordinate work tasks well and possess excellent reporting skills.
• Able to handle pressure and urgent job arrangements.
