Your key responsibilities
  • Taking care of complete deal assessment by understanding program structure, risk involved, internal/external policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and risk score incoming transactions in view of all risk dimensions of the bank, which requires a general curiosity, attention to the detail and understanding of complex transactions in a short time span.
  • Communicate of screening and risk scoring results with various stakeholders globally and clarify on open questions.
  • Looking for ESG, group sustainability factors with eye on all sanctions and embargoes along with reputational risk
  • Work for improvement and enhancement of the existing risk scoring methodologies and scoring process as well as review of model appropriateness for better governance.
  • Involvement in running multiple risk and control functions for Global Working Capital Business
  • To be part of ad-hoc projects and audit/regulatory related work.
  • Focus on bringing new ideas, support and work on process optimization, realignment, automation, and simplification to increase efficiency.
  • Work on regular control process along with new developments in cooperation with technology, business, Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and product management.
  • Maintain global internal reporting trackers to ensure proper monitoring of completion and reporting to management, support the implementation of monitoring tools for senior management/audit
  • Maintain internal process documents and Key Operation Procedures for mandated products
  • Work closely with internal partners including but not limited to Working Capital Sales, Deal Management, Product managers and Services team to promote Deutsche Bank's Working capital business.
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Engineering and Economics/Applied Economics,
  • 3-6 years of work experience in relevant field of Finance and/or Engineering, Risk Management, Product Management and Analytics
  • A good understanding of all Trade Finance products especially Working Capital and Financials Supply Chain Solutions
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the risks, control, compliance and regulatory environment and requirements in Banking with focus on Trade Finance
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and can think xe2x80x98outside the box
  • Knowledge of advanced MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA Macro and good understanding of Tableau reporting and analytical tool
  • Strong communication skills with excellent English, both orally and written; German is a plus.
  • Effective organizational skills, i.e., the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines and pressure. Decisiveness and performance oriented
  • Ability to successfully navigate a complex, international organization, build strong relationships and work collaboratively with business and management teams, external clients and with other control functions across multiple time-zones (US, EMEA and APAC)
  • Self-starter with ability to solve problems in an independent and successful manner, while supporting team goals/ objectives. Willingness to accept responsibility for tasks and projects
