The Workday Test & Release team provide full testing and release/tenant management to all parts of the Workday programme in WPP. Within this role you will provide Test Analyst for several projects including country rollouts as well as BAU enhancements.



In this role you will be a member of the Global QA Hub, working within the WorkDay Team, and reporting to the Workday Test & Release Manager.



This flagship programme will see Workday deployed across our global landscape to address the technology needs of Finance, Projects, and our People function - so essentially it touches all our employees to some degree. The key to this programme is that technology is an enabler for change, it's at the heart of what we do, but it's not all of what we do. The people aspects of this programme are vital to its success. This role will help deliver that success on an ongoing basis for many years to come.




What you'll be doing:


• Performing risk assessments and producing Test documentation e.g. Test Plans, Test Approaches, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and other related items
• Execute Test Scripts in a timely and accurate manner for project, change and release activities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test data for Workday HCM, FINS, PSA functional areas including integration to external systems, Workday Prism Analytics.
• Carry out day to day responsibilities of testing, to ensure the delivery of Workday is achieved with minimal risk to BAU and Project deliverables.
• Ensure that reporting and communication of plans, progress and issues is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
• Working proactively to resolve issues where necessary with Support.
• Working with 3rd party teams to ensure testing is delivered correctly and on time.
• Setting up Jira/Zephyr for Project & BAU Testing Activities
• Executing & Maintaining Automated scripts
• Acting as a point of reference for Business UAT
• Support Execution of Test Scripts by Business Users
• Escalation of risks to the Test Lead
• Recommending improvements to the testing business process


What you'll need:


• Experience of Testing throughout the full SDLC (Management & Execution)
• Ability to clearly report status and highlight risks
• Working knowledge of test management tools
• Excellent technical understanding of SAAS ERP platforms and processes
• Working alongside outsourced resources and teams
• Delivery focused, with high energy and drive
• Strong risk awareness skills and management of risk
• Creative solutioning and strong problem-solving skills with agility for fast and simple solutions
• Credibility, professionalism, and strong personal integrity
