We are building a team to support our global Workday deployment that will utilise HCM, PSA and FINS with regular deployments globally over the next 3 years. As our business changes, we are looking for a pro-active Knowledge Manager to collect, analyse, store, and share relevant information related to the Workday platform, HRIS applications and our internal processes and procedures.
Your experience in Knowledge Management will bring new ideas and continuous improvement to this area of our service. You will immediately be involved in creation of our knowledge management strategy and implementing our plans to drive improvements in this area of our service. This will include all information from departmental information to technical SOPs and training materials. Some early requirements will include conducting gap-analysis of current state knowledge base, development of action plan and priorities for 2024, and creation of a management plan for on-going changes and updates.
This is an exciting and varied role in a dynamic organisation where you will work with the wider Workday Services Team to provide a world class level of Workday support and development on a day-to-day basis. You will also work with the WPP Implementation Team and People Teams to understand, improve and deliver an efficient and effective solution.
What you'll be doing:
• Manage the Workday Support Teams Knowledge Repositories
• Create valuable, up to-date and reliable documentation for Workday and other applications backed by Workday Services
• Automation of knowledge base updates throughout the service management lifecycle including Incident Management, Service Requests and Change Requests
• Ensure that all knowledge that is created is accessible and uses variety in its design
• Work with technical teams on creating and storing Technical Documentation
• Create and ensure End User documentation is up to date to be used as Level 0
• Working with business change teams to drive awareness of Level 0 support options
• Ensuring Level 1 and Level 2 SOP documentation is update
• After change and releases, ensure documentation is up to date and accurate
• Assessment of Workday Release Impact on documentation
• Manage the transition of project documentation, training guides and knowledge base articles into Workday Services Confluence instance
• Create and maintain a system for regular review and management of knowledge including leading regular Content Winner discussions
• Monitor progress by leveraging analytics to assess the impact, engagement, functionality and effectiveness of knowledge management strategy
• Pro-actively assess different content storage locations for documentation that needs to be archived or updated
• Send regular notifications on recent updates to knowledge base

• Knowledge and experience of cross functional working on both HR, Finance and Professional Services processes an advantage

• Effective team player and experience of working with others to achieve a common goal
