Start your journey.Position Overview:This is a hands-on Workday development and leadership position with direct reports. Exceptional communication, problem solving and curiosity are strongly required.
Hand-on Workday experience preferred. Certifications are nice but not as important as real world experience.What You\xe2\x80\x99ll do on a Typical Day :-

• Lead Workday specific integration development team, including leading remote global resources using Workday Studio and other supporting technologies.
• Provide hands-on Workday programming expertise and leadership as part of a Workday Integrations team which is expected to develop, monitor, support and enhance about 120 integrations with plans to grow. We currently have three full time junior and senior Workday developers under this position and we expect to grow this year.
• Understand and take ownership for the end-to-end data flow for assigned integrations (from Workday to 3rd parties and vice-versa), including performing hands-on Workday configuration and code updates as necessary so that integrations running across multiple technologies deliver the required business outcomes.
• Ensure GBT\xe2\x80\x99s approximately 30 global payroll integrations are developed according to Workday best practices, minimize ongoing maintenance needs, and run efficiently/effectively with the end result of paying all GBT employees correctly
• Develop, build, test and deploy new integrations leveraging leading-edge technologies to facilitate good business outcomes and position GBT to meet future requirements
• Understand and provide input on integrating Workday into the larger Enterprise Architecture for the organization (SSO, IP whitelisting, toolset changes)
• Works closely with the lead Extend developer to improve Workday via Extend applications
• Manage and lead Jira-based Agile Integration development cycle that focuses on accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution
• Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests
• Perform integration regression testing
• Understand data governance and security including solid SOX audit compliance

What We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for :-

• Very strong Workday Studio development experience. You will need to be able to demonstrate this experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are absolutely vital. This position works daily with multiple teams around the world. You will participate in calls on many levels and you will host and present calls as well.
• Specific Workday to ADP integration experience preferred
• Experience with one or more full-life cycle implementations of Workday preferred
• Demonstrated experience with Workday development tool sets required:

Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Studio BIRT Module, RAAS, PECI, etc.). Some familiarity with Extend is helpful. * Strong technical experience with XSLT, XTT, XML and object-oriented development including Java.

• Experience with APIs and Web Services standards (WSDL, SOAP, REST).
• Experience integrating Workday Time & Absence to 3rd party systems is helpful
• Experience managing the integration testing of Workday releases is helpful
• Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on integration related inquiries including testing and communications
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change while maintaining focused calm in the face of challenges. And a sense of humor is nice.
