Roles and responsibilities :

• We are seeking a motivated WordPress Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role provides hands-on experience in WordPress development, perfect for candidates with basic knowledge of WordPress and an eagerness to grow in the field. High-performing interns may be offered a full-time position upon completion of the internship.



Key Responsibilities
• + Assist in building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites.
+ Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
+ Optimize website performance, load speed, and security.
+ Support content creation, management, and layout adjustments as needed.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve basic website issues and bugs.
+ Collaborate with designers and developers to align website features with design specifications.
+ Contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and ideas for improvement.
• Qualifications and Skills
• + Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Web Development, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and basic customizations.
+ Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
+ Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot simple issues and find effective solutions.
+ Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and take guidance from team members.
+ Adaptability: Open to learning new skills and working with various WordPress tools and plugins.
• Preferred Qualifications
• + Familiarity with website builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
+ Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL is an advantage.
+ Experience with SEO best practices and optimizing websites for performance.
+ Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a plus.
