Job Title : WordPress Development Intern

Job Overview :

We are seeking a WordPress Development Intern for the academic years 2024-2025 to assist our technical team in creating, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites. This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their skills and gain real-world experience in website development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, set up, and configure WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Write and edit HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to enhance site design and interactivity.
• Perform minor PHP customizations and troubleshoot issues in WordPress.
• Design and ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive across devices and browsers.
• Create graphics or mockups using design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
• Utilize WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi for efficient site creation.
• Implement on-page SEO principles, including metadata, alt tags, and HTML structure.
• Collaborate using version control systems like Git.
• Optimize website performance and loading speeds.
• Understand and implement basic web hosting and domain management tasks.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with WordPress installation, setup, and dashboard functionality.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of PHP for WordPress customizations.
• Strong grasp of responsive design principles.
• Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma).
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) best practices.
• Understanding of hooks, filters, and advanced WordPress customization techniques.
• Awareness of website performance optimization techniques.
• Basic understanding of web hosting and domain management.
