Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong foundation in Core PHP to develop, customize, and maintain high-performing WordPress websites and plugins. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of web development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating user-friendly and scalable websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins using PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Build and integrate APIs to enhance functionality.
• Optimize website performance for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website or plugin issues.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to implement visually appealing and functional UI/UX elements.
• Maintain website security, ensuring up-to-date patches and safeguarding against vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress and PHP development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience: 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress and Core PHP development.
• Proficiency in PHP: Strong understanding of Core PHP, MySQL, and database structures.
• WordPress expertise: Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and filters.
• Frontend development skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization techniques is a plus.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
