Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior WordPress Developer with up to 2 years of experience, particularly skilled in Bootstrap and Divi, to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our WordPress-based websites. You will work closely with our design and content teams to create visually appealing and highly functional websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• WordPress Development : Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites using best practices and industry standards.
• Theme Customization : Customize and modify existing WordPress themes, specifically using Divi and Bootstrap, to meet client requirements.
• Plugin Development : Develop, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins as needed.
• Responsive Design : Ensure that all websites are fully responsive and optimized for various devices, utilizing Bootstrap for consistent design.
• Content Management : Collaborate with the content team to implement and manage website content.
• Site Maintenance : Perform regular site maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility : Ensure websites function seamlessly across different browsers and platforms.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly.
• Collaboration : Work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for projects, processes, and code.

Qualifications:

• Experience : Up to 2 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with Divi theme and page builder.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap framework for responsive design.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Design Skills : Basic understanding of web design principles and experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch) is a plus.
• SEO Knowledge : Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
• Version Control : Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team Player : Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
