Job Description

1. Website Development & Customization:

a. Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites based on the requirements.

b. Customize themes and templates to align with design and functionality specifications.

2. Plugin Management:

a. Install, configure, and maintain plugins to enhance website features.

b. Develop custom plugins or modify existing ones as needed.

3. Performance Optimization:

a. Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and overall performance.

b. Conduct regular performance audits and implement best practices for improvement.

4. Website Maintenance:

a. Perform regular updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

b. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

5. Integration:

a. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites.

b. Ensure seamless functionality across different systems.

6. SEO & Analytics:

a. Implement basic on-page SEO strategies.

b. Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics.

7. Collaboration:

a. Work closely with design, content, and marketing teams to align website functionality with business goals.

b. Communicate effectively with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:

a. Proficiency in WordPress CMS, including custom themes and plugin development.

b. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

c. Familiarity with MySQL and database management.

d. Experience with version control tools like Git.

2. Design Proficiency:

a. Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.

b. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for website asset creation and design customization.

c. Experience with design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Illustrator is a plus.

3. Problem-Solving:

a. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.

4. SEO and Performance Optimization:

a. Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization.

5. Other Skills:

a. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

b. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.

Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.

Knowledge of web hosting environments and domain management.
