Position: WordPress Developer

Location: Kochi , Kerala

Mode: Onsite Only

Experience required : 1 to 2 years

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based

websites, including eCommerce platforms and standard business websites. The ideal candidate should

have a strong understanding of WordPress, a keen eye for design, and the ability to customize themes

and plugins to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Development:

• Build and maintain WordPress websites for diverse industries.
• Develop custom themes, templates, and plugins as per project needs.

2. eCommerce Solutions:

• Set up and customize Woo Commerce-based eCommerce websites.
• Configure payment gateways, shipping methods, and product catalogs.

3. Customization & Optimization:

• Customize themes and plugins to match client specifications.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.

4. Testing & Debugging:

• Test websites across different browsers and devices for compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.

5. Content Management:

• Integrate CMS solutions for easy content updates.
• Assist in managing website content when needed.

6. Maintenance & Support:

• Perform regular updates for WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Provide technical support and training to clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with Woo Commerce and eCommerce functionality.
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Should be able to communicate effectively at a basic working proficiency level.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
• Experience with performance optimization tools (e.g., caching plugins, CDN).
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX tools (Figma).
• Prior experience working with multilingual websites is an added adv.

Educational Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?28,000.00 per month
