Job Title: WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
• Working closely with both the design and project resources to achieve the best possible results in web projects from conception right through to delivery
• Ensuring all work adheres to current industry best practices

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with WordPress, including building custom themes and plugins
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with responsive design and frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
• Ability to manage project tasks, timelines, and communication effectively

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field (preferred)
• years of experience in WordPress development
• Portfolio of WordPress websites and projects
