We at Mervan Agency are looking for a WordPress Developer with experience from 0.5 to 2 years to join our team. Strong coding skills both on the front end and back end are required. Demonstrate expertise in customizing WordPress plugins and themes. Experiences
0.5 - 2 Year

Basic Requirements

• Should be familiar with the WordPress platform and ecosystem.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, with a falcon eye for design distinctions.
• Can develop responsive and scalable websites on WordPress.
• Deep knowledge of UI/UX principles and their best practices.
• Expertise in writing clean code for SEO and site performance.
• Good programming aptitude and good problem-solving skills
• Must have good knowledge of software development life cycle
• Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• Should be comfortable with dealing with clients.

Technical skill

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming in PHP.
• Solid understanding of MySQL and DBMS Concepts.
• Ability to transform complex PSD/XD/Sketch mockups into pixel-perfect code or with page builders.
• Can customize the WordPress themes and plugins.
• Can Develop the custom plugins in WordPress
• Can create custom post types, taxonomies, and queries without the requirements of plugins.
• Creating the best eCommerce solutions using the WooCommerce plugin
• Seamlessly integrate third-party apps and APIs
• Knowledge of JavsScript and JQuery
• Knowledge of MVC Concepts

Other Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of any of the following: Adobe XD, InDesign, Sketch, Figma, etc.
• Use of SCSS / LESS instead of CSS
• Use of Webpack / Vite for asset management
• Use of Version Control Tools such as GIT

Qualification

BCA, MCA, B.E./B.Tech. in Computer or I.T., Diploma in Computer or I.T., BSc. IT, MSc. IT
