Job Description

Job Summary:
The WordPress Designer will be responsible for creating and managing websites built on the WordPress platform. This role requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
• Establish and guide the website's architecture.
• Ensure high-performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Create visually appealing websites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization's standards.
• Customize WordPress themes to suit business needs.
• Conduct website performance tests and optimize speed.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in website design and development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues as they arise.
• Implement and manage website backups, security, and updates.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder.
• Familiarity with website analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,743.71 - ?30,000.00 per month
