Job Description
Computer Teacher
A computer teacher works with students to teach computers and related topics.
Computer teachers are often hired as Full time employees to help instruct students it is full-time positions.
Computer Teacher Duties:
- Evaluate students\xe2\x80\x99 strengths and weaknesses, and devise and implement individual learning plans
- Promote the use of technology in the classroom
- Design lessons that incorporate technologies as appropriate
- Provide technical support to classrooms
- Work with school administrators to maintain equipment and resources
- Create instructional materials that incorporate new technologies
- Develop and adhere to school curriculum
- Meet with parents/guardians and students as needed
- Meet with other teachers to develop lesson plans and instructional materials
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations
- Develop and maintain relationships with informal educators
- Develop and maintain relationships with the community
- Develop and maintain relationships with other school staff
- Coordinate school curriculum to meet academic standards.
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a computer-related field
- 2+ years of experience as a classroom teacher
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Drive to succeed
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
