Desired candidate must have min. experience of 8-10 years to qualify for this position

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and administer Windows server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers.
2. Configuration of websites in IIS along with Application pool configuration
3. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure server reliability and security.
4. Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server resources for optimal performance and efficiency.
5. Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases, including database installation, configuration, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
6. Develop and implement database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance and support application development and deployment.
8. Manage cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
9. Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions for servers and databases.
10. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed.
11. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Windows servers, MSSQL databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Windows Server Administrator with expertise in managing Microsoft SQL Server databases.
3. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
4. Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
5. Proficiency in MSSQL database administration, including database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
6. Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and high availability solutions.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex server and database issues.
8. Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Relevant certifications such as MCSA: Windows Server, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
