What\'s this role about?

OS AND VIRTUALISATION & HARDWARE PLATFORM

8+ years of supporting Windows Server environments/Active Directory/Virtualization

Looking for a Senior System Administrator, skilled in Citrix and/or VMware Horizon, support of Virtual Desktops, Streaming Applications, Windows Server, and Desktop OS. Dell hardware support for servers and Dell Storage products. Must have good customer support skills and proactive and creative mindset. Work is presently on-site, no remote work policy.

In-depth knowledge of VMWARE, GPO, AD, Windows platforms, including the architecture, design, administration, and management of a distributed systems environment

Proven abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent organizational and time management skills.

Analyzing, designing, and implementing new technologies for applications within the onsite environment and Azure

PowerShell scripting skills

Communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.

Solid understanding of compliance and security around desktop, servers, and Azure to implement best practices

Developing and promoting standard operations documentation such as procedures, checklists, Knowledge Base Articles, and user instructions

Identify security risks to our environment, and suggest mitigation solutions

Partner with InfoSec to strengthen system management

Participate in on-call and incident resolution

Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs

Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system Meeting Quality objectives and standards

A willingness to develop new skills and to understand new technology

Educational requirement:

Graduate and preferably BCA or any other Technical Field.

Certification is added benefit
