We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Database Administrator

In this role you will:

• Support and maintain HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s global Privileged Access Management (PAM) technology.
• Contribute to service improvement through automation and innovation
• Actively participate in HSBC strategic programs of capability uplift in the PAM space.
• Own work and tasks within BAU projects (such as upgrades) and BAU stakeholder engagements
• Own work to respond to audit and compliance teams as required within deadlines
• Work within an Agile team with workload managed within Jira boards
• Participate in 24/7 support rota with the team, and cover occasional out-of-hours changes
• Collaborate in a positive way with global team members both within and outside of our team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :

• 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with at least one PAM tool \xe2\x80\x93 Cyberark, Delinea, Thycotic, One Identity
• 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with Windows and/or UNIX infrastructure deployed at enterprise scale
• Experience of using automation tooling to manage or maintain infrastructure \xe2\x80\x93 PowerShell or Ansible preferred
• Experience of working in a support role, with in depth troubleshooting or crisis-call experience
• Experience of using monitoring and alerting tooling to maintain a healthy environment
• Understanding of core Privileged Access Management and Secret Management concepts
• Ability to succeed in a diverse global team \xe2\x80\x93 confident communicator with good standard of English language
• Positive attitude to learning and picking up new skills and roles within the team
