Profile Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic

Keyboard Trainer

to join the music education team at

Salim Merchant's School of Musical Composition

. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over Western keyboard techniques, including sight-reading, improvisation, and performance. You'll be responsible for inspiring students to develop both technical proficiency and a love for music through engaging and structured lessons.

Through celebrity-led academies--including those by Salim Merchant, Subhash Ghai, Amish Tripathi, and others--we've created a unique co-scholastic learning ecosystem. We're currently partnered with over 150 schools across India, training more than 100,000 students.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group sessions focusing on Western keyboard techniques and vocals. Customize training plans based on students' age, skill level, and pace of learning. Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations, fostering stage confidence. Develop and deliver a structured curriculum covering music theory, technique, and performance. Provide ongoing feedback, assessments, and mentorship to students. Maintain a lively, inclusive, and disciplined class environment that encourages creative growth.

Apply If:

You have formal or informal education in Western music, specifically keyboard. You have teaching or performance experience in keyboard music. You are well-versed in Western music theory. You are patient, engaging, and can manage group of school students in a class. You have excellent communication skills.
