Supervisor (TIG/MIG/ Heavy/Structure Fabrication industry's)

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Supervisor with specialized expertise in TIG and MIG welding, focusing on heavy and structural fabrication. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings. oversee and coordinate fabrication operations, ensuring the availability of raw materials and consumables, while maintaining efficient production processes in alignment with Swiss quality standards.

NATURE OF WORK: Manage day to day operation (Welding/Grinding/Drilling/buffing/ Material handling/Documentation)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret the fabrication & Assembly drawings, taking accurate measurement.
• Help the team to tagging of basement frame within drawing parameters.
• Determine and set up appropriate welding equipment or methods based on project specifications and requirements.
• Align components precisely using callipers, rulers, etc., and perform welding operations using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Conduct testing and inspections of welded surfaces and structures to identify any flaws or imperfections.
• Maintain welding equipment in a safe and optimal working condition to ensure safe, smooth and efficient fabrication operations.

Day to Day responsibilities:

Assist team members on projects to ensure smooth operations and to ensure targets are met.

Maintain accurate daily records as required.

Safely operate and use a variety of shop equipment and tools, including forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, rigging, grinders, cutting torches, and other hand tools.

Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.

Support quality assurance and quality control activities as required.

Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Fill daily production report accurately and in a timely manner.

Work independently based on drawings and documentation.

Ensure work is performed efficiently and within schedule requirements.

Handling of factory operations

Handling Of IN-Out material

Handling of Documentations (Like. production doc., quality doc., store doc.)

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Knowledge of spot welding, Plasma cutting, Stud welding.

Proficient in English will add an advantage.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

ITI / Diploma from reputed institute.

Min 10 - 15 years of experience as a welder/Fitter in Heavy Fabrication.

Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (MIG & TIG.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?500,000.00 per year
