Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and experience working with various metals to produce high-quality fabricated products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding and Fabrication:
• Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), or other techniques as required.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Blueprint Reading:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure welds meet industry standards and project requirements.
• Inspect completed projects for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Equipment Operation:
• Operate welding tools and machinery such as grinders, plasma cutters, and torches.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Provide guidance to junior welders when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 4 + years of experience as a Welder in fabrication.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication methods.
• Ability to use tools such as grinders, drills, and measuring instruments.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
• Certification: ITI ,Welder certification (AWS or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

Educational Requirements:

• ITI or equivalent.
• Vocational training or technical school certification in welding is preferred.
