Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder cum Fitter cum Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, fitting, and fabricating metal structures and components as per technical drawings and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding : Perform various types of welding (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.) to assemble and repair metal structures and equipment.
• Fitting : Measure, cut, and fit metal parts accurately according to blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Fabrication : Build and assemble metal structures, ensuring they meet quality and design standards.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment, including grinders, cutters, and drills.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

Education :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding or fabrication from a recognized institution is preferred.

Experience :

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in welding, fitting, and fabrication.
• Proficiency in working with various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Skills :

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Good understanding of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in industrial or heavy fabrication projects.
• Knowledge of modern welding technologies and techniques.
