**Job Title:** Wedding Event Coordinator**Department:** Events/Planning**Reports To:** Event Manager/Director**Job Summary:**We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Wedding Event Coordinator to join our team. The Wedding Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating weddings, ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed to perfection. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for clients.**Key Responsibilities:**1. **Client Consultation and Planning:**- Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their wedding.- Develop detailed wedding plans, timelines, and checklists.- Provide creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the wedding experience.- Coordinate and attend site visits with clients.2. **Vendor Coordination:**- Identify and negotiate with vendors, including caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment providers.- Secure contracts and ensure all services are booked and confirmed.- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and vendors.3. **Budget Management:**- Assist clients in establishing and managing their wedding budget.- Track expenses and ensure the wedding stays within budget.- Provide cost-saving suggestions and alternatives when needed.4. **Event Logistics:**- Oversee the setup and breakdown of wedding ceremonies and receptions.- Coordinate logistics such as transportation, accommodation, and seating arrangements.- Ensure all elements of the wedding day run smoothly and on schedule.5. **Day-of Coordination:**- Serve as the point of contact on the wedding day for clients, vendors, and guests.- Manage the wedding day timeline and ensure all activities occur as planned.- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise promptly and professionally.6. **Client Relations and Communication:**- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning process.- Provide updates and progress reports to clients.- Address any client concerns or changes in plans efficiently.7. **Post-Event Follow-Up:**- Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to gather feedback.- Ensure all final payments and invoices are settled.- Provide thank-you notes and follow-up communication to clients and vendors.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.- Proven experience as a Wedding Coordinator or similar role in event planning.- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.**Physical Requirements:**- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.- Flexibility to travel to various event locations.**Work Schedule:**- Full-time position with varying hours based on event schedules.- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.Job Type: Full-timePay: \xe2\x82\xb912,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb918,000.00 per monthSchedule:
