We seek a meticulous and detail-orientated Website QA Tester to work within our Digital Marketing development team. The ideal person will be able to combine an understanding of the back-end functionality with front-end usability, with a great eye for detail and methodology. Who we are? the Digital Marketing team is responsible for developing all Manhattan corporate websites, organic search, paid search, advertising campaigns, account-based demand generation opportunities, and our digital content outreach. Manhattan?s corporate websites are solely powered by Optimizely technology. Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of websites and web applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various web projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on different browsers and devices.
  • Document and report defects, issues, and test results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Verify fixes and track issues to closure.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role, preferably in web testing.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web development processes.
  • Experience of Optimizely CMS an advantage.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and scripts.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Must be able to establish, document, and execute test strategies/plans/cases from business and functional requirements.
  • Experience with using software for specifying test requirements, planning tests, running tests, and tracking defects.
  • Experience with Multi-desktop and Mobile platform methodologies (i.e. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
  • An understanding of all web browsers and familiarity with different mobile device market share, versions, and functionality.
Minimum Requirements
  • 4+ years experience in a similar Web QA role.
  • A Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Essential to have experience with task ticketing systems such as Jira.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web analytics.
