Job Title: WordPress Website Developer

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Website Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development and a strong understanding of UI/UX principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing user-friendly, visually appealing, and high-performing websites. Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop CS is a must, along with the ability to deliver exceptional user experiences through responsive and optimized designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Customization:

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring exceptional functionality and performance.

Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project and client requirements.

Create custom WordPress themes, plugins, and features as needed.

UI/UX Design:

Apply UI/UX design principles to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces. Design website visuals, banners, and other assets using tools like Canva and

Adobe Photoshop CS.

Ensure all designs prioritize usability and align with project branding and objectives.

Content Management:

Manage, update, and optimize website content to ensure relevance and accuracy.

Facilitate content migration and integration for new or existing projects.

Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve website-related technical issues, including bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.

Provide ongoing support to ensure websites run smoothly with minimal downtime.

Performance Optimization:

Implement performance optimization techniques to enhance website speed and responsiveness.

Continuously monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.

Security & Compliance:

Implement security measures to safeguard websites from vulnerabilities and potential threats.

Ensure websites comply with accessibility standards and relevant web regulations.

Collaboration & Communication:

Collaborate with content creators, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Clearly communicate project timelines, updates, and technical details to team members and clients.

Contribute to brainstorming sessions and planning discussions to improve project outcomes.

Documentation & Training:

Maintain clear documentation for custom code, configurations, and development processes.

Provide training and support to clients or team members on WordPress functionalities and updates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).

2-3 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Strong experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.

Expertise in responsive design, website performance optimization, and SEO best practices.

Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop CS.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic command-line operations.

Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: ?10,082.35 - ?49,859.25 per month
