We are seeking an experienced and creative Website Designer with expertise in designing and developing websites using Shopify, Wix, and custom code. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to customize templates professionally. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain websites using Shopify, Wix, and custom code solutions.
• Customize Shopify and Wix templates to match our branding requirement, optimize functionality, and improve user experience.
• Build eCommerce websites on Shopify, integrating third-party apps, payment gateways, and setting up product listings.
• Create websites from scratch, handling the full cycle of website development, from wireframing to deployment if and when needed.
• Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-optimized, and cross-browser compatible.
• Collaborate with the art department, marketing and content teams to ensure websites align with business objectives and o?er excellent user experiences.
• Test and troubleshoot websites for performance issues, bugs, and cross-platform/browser compatibility.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web design and development.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, making improvements and updates as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in web design and development with a focus on Shopify and Wix platforms.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience customizing Shopify and Wix templates to meet our requirements.
• Knowledge of eCommerce development and integration, especially on Shopify.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website analytics (Google Analytics).
• Experience building custom websites from scratch, with an understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Shopify Partner or Wix Expert certification is a plus.
• Experience with other CMS platforms like WordPress is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, Liquid, or other back-end development languages.
