About the internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conceptualizing creative website ideas for and with clients
2. Designing engaging and responsive website landing pages
3. Employing industry and design best practices through the website-building process
4. Conducting testing and improving the website design to create the best possible user experience
5. Integrating client CMS programs and data feeds into websites
6. Optimizing sites for maximum speed and scalability
7. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices, potentially in a style guide document
8. Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients
9. Liaising with back-end developers or a web development team to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated
10. Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
11. Working with marketing and research teams to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into the website
12. Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, prototypes, and wireframes
13. Incorporating functionalities and features into websites
14. Designing sample pages including colors and fonts
15. Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
16. Providing internal support and external customer service throughout the build and launch process of the website
