If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Web/App Middleware Build Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nxc4x81du (IN-TN), India (IN).RHEL8 OS and WebSphere 9.x, WebLogic 12c, Tomcat 10, Apache 2.4.57Job Overview:The Middleware Hosting L3 Support Analyst is a high level role responsible for assisting with Middleware Hosting support, including the followingMiddleware Products: WebSphere ND, IBM Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, NGNIX, and Nodejs.The overall objective of the Middleware Web/App Engineer for Build/Integration is to build these applications in compliance to our Engineeringstandards and support the Middleware Infrastructure for these applications as a Subject Matter Expert, including troubleshooting issues,maintaining current patch levels, setting up and maintaining connectivity between application servers and web servers, understanding protocols andciphers, and communicating and working well with developers and products support application teams. This role requires someone who can worksindependently but can also be a team player.Responsibilities:Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup,its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgmentregarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyActs as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team membersBuild Middleware infrastructure using Citi's Automation toolsKeep projects up to date with current patchingMajor Incident ResolutionAssist in Load Balancing and Firewall setupsCreate complex project plans, perform impact analyses solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore servicesDrive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of serviceDesign testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasksReview requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessaryProvide technical/strategic direction and documentation to lower level analystsDevelop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices.Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions.Exercise independence of judgement and autonomyAdhere to Citi's policies and proceduresWork on rotating 24/7 on-call supportQualifications:6+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvementExperience with at least 2 of following Application Server: IBM WebSphere ND, IBM Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, TomcatExperience with at least 2 of following Web Server: IBM HTTP, Oracle HTTP, NGNIX, ApacheGood knowledge of Linux/UnixBasic Database and SQL knowledge is an advantageStrong Troubleshooting knowledge.Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audienceAbility to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadlineEffective written and verbal communication skillsEffective analytic/diagnostic skillsExperience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred, not requiredAbility to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.Education:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience.About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
