Web Support SpecialistChennai, IndiaAbout the Job:As a part of our industry-leading Support On-Demand team, youre a coach, a problem-solver, and an advocate for our Partners all in a days work! We are looking for a Web Support Specialist who can act as the line of defense providing technical support for websites created using our own proprietary hosting product. The Website Support Specialist thoroughly understands the ins-and-outs of DNS, SSL, caching, WordPress and web hosting; is able to write FAQs, help articles, and blog posts; and helps our users thrive with our hosting product.Your Impact:

  • Work closely with our clients and development teams to super-serve and solve technical issues related to websites created through WordPress, Woocommerce, Divi Builder interacting directly with customers over email, chat, phone, and video calls as needed
  • Work with users to identify and fix broken plugins, themes, and sites with ease for our clients
  • Create and contribute to resource content in the form of FAQs, help articles, blog posts, and etc. to address solutions & strategies that help users thrive with our hosting platform
  • Maintain product knowledge and awareness of developments (being able to brief clients as necessary)
  • Coordinate feedback from clients on product development suggestions and improvements back to R&D
  • Utilize CRM software to manage interactions with customers
  • Develop solutions for identified technical issues using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 2+ years experience working and developing directly in WordPress; experience developing/supporting eCommerce websites considered a strong asset
  • 1-2 years experience working directly with customers/users in a service setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in DNS, SSL, caching, and web hosting
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Degree/diploma in computer science, computer engineering, or the like considered an asset
  • High standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and accountability for success by self-imposed standards of excellence
  • Proper phone etiquette and the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately in English
  • Ability to deal effectively with others, using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict
