We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.Position Description:We are seeking a highly skilled, highly creative web developer who will be responsible for developing and contributing to the design of Teledyne LeCroy websites. This includes working on the corporate-wide site revamp and site consolidations project, as well as helping with ongoing updates and improvements to the current live site. This individual will be a member of the web development team and will work closely with other developers and designers on the team to create new pages, develop site components, and help in the maintenance of the live websites. This is technical marketing position and is part of the marketing department, reporting to the Marketing Director.The ideal candidate must have experience in both front-end (client-side) skills including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS scripting and back-end (server-side) skills including VB.net and C#.net programming languages. Ideally, they will also have experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server and GitLab. Optimally they will have used supporting and companion website systems including tools for search, video delivery, marketing automation, and collaborative business platforms.Responsibilities:

• Be part of the web team - creating, designing, migrating, and producing new pages and updates to existing websites.
• Participate in the design and development process as a member of the web team - building HTML prototypes, proof of concepts, and injecting ideas to improve the overall page and site.
• Write code that optimizes web search results utilizing best practices in HTML structures and tags and optimizes social media and sharing strategies.
• Complete web support tickets (updates, bugs, issues, etc.) relating to the external facing website - from understanding the update/issue being requested through to completion, testing, and publishing.
• Make updates to the sandbox and test sites for additional troubleshooting and testing, then schedule for publishing.
• Learn and use the website control panel (internal content management system).
• Assist in use of and integration of supporting technologies and tools used to run and manage the website - Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Cludo, Wistia, Pardot, SharePoint, and others.
• Assist in the migration of content from numerous Teledyne LeCroy websites and business units to the corporate website.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, communications, or business preferred with a minimum of five years of proven web development experience.
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development.
• Expert level HTML5, CSS3 (including Bootstrap framework and CSS), JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET languages (VB.net, C#.net), and in using Microsoft Team Foundation Server and GitLab.

• Strong relational database technologies knowledge and experience using of Microsoft SQL.
• Experience developing responsive website optimizing user experience for both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding and commitment creating HTML optimized for organic search results, SEO, and social/sharing platforms.
• Robust analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience with Marketing Automation and CMS systems including Pardot, a plus.
• eCommerce knowledge and experience, a plus.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent English for both written and verbal communication.
• Excellent grammar, editing, proofing and copywriting skills.
• Ability to create and write website content where needed from requirements and other materials.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
