Role Overview:

The Front-End Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces for web applications and websites. Combining creativity with technical expertise, this role bridges the gap between design and development by turning wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into functional, interactive web pages. A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential to ensure seamless integration of design elements and smooth user experiences across different devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement responsive designs that align with user experience (UX) best practices, ensuring functionality across various devices and screen sizes.
• Convert design mockups or wireframes into clean, efficient, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and interactive user experiences.
• Optimize web pages for speed and performance , adhering to modern web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues , identifying and fixing bugs to ensure smooth functionality.
• Ensure accessibility by implementing best practices and adhering to web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Stay updated on the latest web design trends, front-end frameworks, and industry tools to enhance development efficiency and user experience.
• Work with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript , with a strong understanding of modern web standards and best practices.
• Experience in responsive design and working with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, or Tailwind.
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., jQuery, React, or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to address them.
• Strong attention to detail with a creative mindset for crafting engaging and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles , including wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub) for code collaboration and version management.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and debug front-end code.
• Good communication and teamwork skills , with experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
