Job Description
Join us as a Web Application Developer
- In this key role, youll collaborate with multiple stakeholders to design, build and deliver solutions to internal customers
- Youll also be partnering with the business and technical stakeholders, driving out high quality value add web based solutions
- This is an opportunity to gain exposure as you educate and sell opportunities and developments in web-based applications across the bank
- Were offering this role at associate level
- Assessing user requirements and stories, to deliver required results
- Internally validating all code written for yourself and peers
- Assisting in managing environments and code through QA and release processes
- Strong industry-based experience creating complex frontends using React or Redux
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, LESS or SASS, working with responsive design
- Strong experience in python, building restful API's using Flask and experience with authentication or authorisation would be desirable
- An eye for UX with appropriate skill set to implement improvements
- The ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- The ability to understand and be able to support, modify and maintain systems and code developed by other engineering teams
- Experience of working in Agile projects along experience with Scrum/Kanban and with a willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques
