Job Responsibilities * Supervise and execute the installation of elevator electrical systems, including wiring, control panel connections, and testing of electrical components.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on elevator electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
Collaborate with service teams to address escalated issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Conduct safety inspections, document findings, and train team members on safe practices and protocols.
Maintain accurate records, including maintenance logs, repair history, and installation reports.
Prepare technical reports and communicate updates to management.
Evaluate and recommend upgrades or modifications to electrical systems as necessary.
Provide on-site and remote support for resolving electrical issues and assist in training technicians.
Key Qualifications and SkillsEducational Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
3+ years in electrical maintenance, specifically in the elevator or vertical transportation industry
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and elevator control systems
Familiarity with safety standards like EN 81, IEC, or equivalent
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
