About Wholesale Banking Products

Wholesale Banking in Axis Bank works along with large, mid-corporate and multi-national clients as well as commercial banking group (including small and medium enterprises as well as micro, small and medium enterprises) and provides customized solutions across loan and fee-based products and services.

Within the wholesale bank, the Wholesale Banking Products Group focuses on transaction banking or flow businesses, i.e. current accounts, collection & payments solutions, trade services, forex remittances, capital market solutions as well as supply chain financing.

About the Role

Correspondent Banking Team is one point of contact for any new tie-ups with FI Banks on Nostro as well as Vostro front.

Correspondent Banking team plays vital role for growing business across verticals to cater to requirements of cross border remittance for both retail and trade segments. The job roles involve close working with partner banks and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of transactions and also explore new avenues for business.

Key Responsibilities

\xef\xbf\xbd Target oriented Product Sales Manager role.

\xef\xbf\xbd To onboard and maintain correspondent bank relationship for handling cross border payments both trade & non trade across segment

\xef\xbf\xbd Involves opening of nostro / Vostro accounts, exploring new business opportunities and servicing queries of customers and partner banks for smooth flow of payments.

\xef\xbf\xbd Penetration on X-Border flows across segment

\xef\xbf\xbd Liaising with internal and external stake holder \xef\xbf\xbd Sales team, Branches, Operations team, Partner banks, Compliance, Audit, Risk.

\xef\xbf\xbd Evolving business plan (short term & long term), product wise strategies for achieving targets.

Qualifications

\xef\xbf\xbd Graduate

\xef\xbf\xbd Experience (4-5 years relevant experience)

Role Proficiencies:

\xef\xbf\xbd Knowledge of Nostro/Vostro & cross border remittance

\xef\xbf\xbd Good communication and inter-personal skills

\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals

\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
