About Swift Center
As per RBI guidelines, Swift Center has been formed as a separate unit at C.O. The BCP Units of Swift Center are located at Kolkata, Airoli and MIDC-Andheri. Processing of all outward swift messages (domestic and overseas) is centralised at Swift Center.
About the RoleThe Swift Center team member will be responsible for authorisation of outward swift messages within the TAT with 100% accuracy. They are required to check all the relevant documents properly before processing.
Key Responsibilities1. Autorisation of swift messages: Authorisation of all outward swift messages (domestic and overseas) is centralised at Swift Center. The outward swift messages are to be checked vis-a-vis customer documents and transmitted.2. Sanction screening: Screening of outward swift messages in screening application and taking action on hits found.3. Inward message assigning: Free format inward swift messages which are received for foreign banks are to be tagged to respective departments within the bank.4. Autorisation of XMM messages: Authorisation of outward XMM messages. The outward XMM messages are to be checked vis-a-vis customer documents and transmitted.5. Query Corr Banking Desk: Handling queries received from branches and liasioning with foreign banks for resolution.
