JOB TITLE : Water operator

LOCATION : Baran , Rajasthan

JOB SUMMARY :

The Water Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems, including potable water treatment plants and distribution systems. This role involves ensuring that water is treated to meet regulatory standards for safety and quality, as well as ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of water supply systems. The Water Operator plays a key role in protecting public health by ensuring that clean, safe, and reliable water is provided to the community.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor water treatment facilities, ensuring that water treatment processes such as filtration, chemical dosing, and disinfection are performed efficiently.
• Adjust treatment processes and equipment settings based on water quality and demand.
• Conduct regular tests on water samples to ensure compliance with quality standards, checking for parameters such as pH, chlorine levels, turbidity, and microbial content.
• Ensure that treated water meets all regulatory standards for health and safety before being distributed.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair treatment plant equipment and machinery, including pumps, valves, and filters.
• Respond to and troubleshoot any operational issues or equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to water supply.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water treatment and distribution.
• Maintain safety standards within the treatment plant and on-site by adhering to safety protocols, handling chemicals safely, and conducting regular safety checks.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality tests, equipment maintenance, and operational activities.
• Prepare and submit reports on water quality, system performance, and compliance for regulatory bodies and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
