The Warrior - People and Culture at Waste Warriors will be responsible for strengthening our Human Resources team at Waste Warriors with a 'whatever it takes approach' during this next phase of our growth. This will include but not be limited to developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies aligned with our mission and values, fostering a supportive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. The candidate will need to develop deep knowledge of the best contemporary practices in Compensation & Benefits, HR Policies, Compliances & In-house Technology in the development sector. Duties & Responsibilities • Develop and execute recruitment sourcing strategies aligned with organizational culture.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and create a recruitment roadmap and sourcing Plan.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in all hiring practices.
• Design role-specific and effective job descriptions to attract like-minded individuals who want to work for a cause.
• Source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and partnerships with academic institutions or other organizations.
• Participate in the exit process and lead the analysis around attrition in consultation with the Leadership Teams.
• Analyse compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans
• Coordinate with External HR consultants to Design, evaluate, and modify benefits policies to ensure that existing programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.
• To support and influence change management to ensure internal HR Transformation.
• To ensure that the key features of the policies and procedures are communicated and understood by the employees and become a part of the Induction Process
• To work directly with HR team members to address employee grievances raised by employees.
• To become the process owner of the HR Technology being used within the organization - and ensure that all respective modules are well integrated with the Organization's culture.
An Ideal Candidate Will:
• 5 - 15+ years of progressive experience in Recruitment, Compensation, HR Policies, Operations, and Compliance in the social sector.
• Will be open to travel to remote locations
• Be at least bilingual (must be able to speak English and Hindi fluently).
• Be open & contribute to new ideas of Organizational Design as we scale
