Your main target is to align physical flow & system flow. ORGANISATION Organisation structure (job belongs to..) Region/Product/Function Supply Chain / Logistic Reports directly to: Logistic Manager (SC-LO-00), Supply Chain Manager (SC-MA-01) Other reporting to: \'Dotted line reporting\' Position title if any Direct reports: Warehouse area supervisor, Logistics Operators, NCR ( N on C onformity R eport) coordinator Network & Links Position title of connected positions / functional report Internal Logistic Management, Logistics Engineering, Quality, Finance Warehouse Key User, Planning manager and Serial Production Coordinator (SPC), Material Planner External 3PL ( T hird P arty L ogistician), logistic partners, subcontractors Truck drivers MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Describe here main information such as accountabilities, authorities, performance measurements etc. Main responsibilities: Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies: Know and follow all safety, environmental and emergency procedures Respect the safety conditions & organize trainings to the team on how to handle goods, trolleys etc. in safe manner Actively participate in all aspects of safety including reporting of near misses and meetings Solve of all safety, site keeping or maintenance issues that are found during inspection that require assistance Ensure the storage of materials, guarantee the quantities stored and the correct storage conditions. Ensure the material availability, integrity & delivery on time on production line Manage the physical material flows (reception, putaway, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows aligned Ensure the ERP ( E nterprise R esource P lanning) solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operators Work closely with Warehouse Key User to manage the stock in the ERP system according to the core model and to train Logistics operators Monitor & challenge the performance of each warehouse activity through Key Performance Indicators Apply the inventory process in compliance with Alstom standard rules (DOA ( D elegation of A uthority), instruction) Actively contributes to the Continuous Improvement activities & APSYS ( A lstom P roduction S ystem) roadmap and leading deployment of all Alstom programs related to Logistics on his own site Management: Provide a long-term vision to the team, set yearly objectives and targets, support and coach in achieving these targets and objectives, perform performance appraisals, reward and recognize merits, set and follow up team members development plans and induction program for newcomers Ensure Logistics Operators follow ALSTOM warehouse processes Manage Logistics Operators & aligned team members activities to the warehouse workload Manage 3PL and logistic partners (manage costs, budget, invoices define targets, monitor activities ) Operational activities: Define the warehouse layout and optimize the storage space (layout, warehouse sizing, slow moving stock / scrapping process, ) Put in place mirror area in the warehouse to optimize line feeding activities (Kanban flow, sequence, ) Plan and manage material receipt, inbound transportation, stock entry, picking and kitting, line feeding, packing, shipping, outbound transportation, inventory accuracy, scrap process Respect any specific storage regulations (chemicals, battery, ) Secure inventory accuracy and organize physical counting activities (both cycle counting and wall to wall) Ensure the continually improvement of the warehouse organisation & processes Quarantine non-conforming material and follow up non-conformity resolution Analyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders on corrective actions. Follow up on these actions and participate in their realization In case of 3PL (logistic activities totally or partially outsourced): Main responsibilities (towards 3PL): Ensure that the 3PL and his employees operates in an environment that complies with Alstom\'s Health, Safety and Environmental policies. Ensure that the 3PL works according to the conditions and service levels agreed in the contract. If the 3PL works in Alstom\'s ERP, ensure that is correctly implemented and used by the 3PL Participate in all monthly, weekly, and daily meetings with the 3PL Management (towards 3PL): Manage 3PLs that are in charge of the external stock (KPIs review, steering committee, monitor activities ) Operational activities (towards 3PL): Guarantee follow-up and performance of 3PL activities through KPIs Analyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders and the Management of the 3PL on corrective actions.
