WAREHOUSE IN-CHARGE

Location - Boisar, Dist- Palghar

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage the warehouse operations in our synthetic resin manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the synthetic resin industry, particularly in catering to printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical companies. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse processes, ensuring proper inventory management, and implementing best practices to optimize storage and distribution operations.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure efficient utilization of space and resources.
• Implement and maintain safety procedures to create a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
• Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Inventory Control:
• Monitor inventory levels regularly to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.
• Implement inventory tracking systems and conduct periodic stock audits.
• Work closely with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels based on production schedules and customer demands.
• Quality Control and Compliance:
• Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all products meet industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
• Team Management:
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the warehouse.
• Implement modern warehousing practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Customer Service:
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Address customer complaints related to warehouse and logistics operations promptly.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse-related data.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational metrics.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemicals, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Warehouse Manager in the synthetic resin industry, specifically catering to printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical companies.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other relevant tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
