Job Summary

The Warehouse Executive is responsible for the efficient management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order processing, receiving and dispatching supplies, and ensuring adherence to First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations
• Manage daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, including quality and quantity checks, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the warehouse premises.
• Inventory Management
• Track and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize shortages or excesses.
• Implement and follow FIFO practices to maintain stock rotation and reduce wastage.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Receiving and Dispatching Supplies
• Supervise the receiving of supplies, ensuring proper inspection and documentation.
• Coordinate the timely dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing.
• Maintain detailed records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Data Management and Reporting
• Update and manage inventory data using warehouse management systems (WMS) or relevant software.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, movement, and wastage.
• Monitor and document key performance metrics, including stock accuracy and order fulfilment rates.
• Compliance and Safety
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Conduct periodic training for warehouse staff on safety protocols and inventory handling.
• Team Collaboration
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align warehouse activities with overall business goals.
• Assist in training and supervising warehouse staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Provide support during peak operations or special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualification :
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience :
• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
• Skills :
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Strong understanding of inventory control methods, including FIFO and LIFO.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data entry tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
