Warehouse Assistant
Job Description
Planning and dispatching pick-up and delivery;
Stock management if necessary;
Organization of timetables and travel ;
Transmission of guidelines to drivers (instructions, documents, etc.);
Communication with customers;
Loading and sending goods out of a warehouse. The dispatch process usually begins with picking the right goods for shipment. The warehouse person needs to make sure that all items in an order are present and accounted for before dispatching it. It is one of the key stages of logistics operations since it connects warehousing with transport which includes processes such as packaging, labeling and goods transport to final customer.

Some essential functions of the Warehouse Dispatcher are to unload vans of merchandise, when required, verify and store merchandise received in the warehouse prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up of merchandise, verify all merchandise to be dispatched, among others.
